Whether you’re looking to update your family portraits or create timeless images of your child, these summer studio portrait sessions are designed to be simple, relaxed, and easy to fit into a busy schedule.
Unlike my full-service sessions, these summer studio portrait sessions require minimal planning and preparation for busy moms. A style guide will be provided before your session to help with wardrobe selection, but there are no consultations, wardrobe appointments, or pre-session planning meetings required.
Simply choose your session, arrive ready to be photographed, and enjoy a relaxed portrait experience focused on genuine expressions and connection. All session will receive and online gallery for choosing images and dowloading images.
Available on Fridays throughout June and July. Limited Saturday dates available upon request.

Child Portrait Sessions
With a simple studio setup and dedicated portrait time, we’re able to create a gallery filled with personality, expression, and a greater variety of images than would typically be possible during a family session. These classic portraits are designed to look beautiful in color or black and white and are perfect for updating the artwork displayed in your home. Designed for children 18 months and older, these sessions focus entirely on your child.

These sessions are photographed on a clean studio backdrop and include family portraits, sibling portraits, and individual portraits of each child. Designed around one coordinated outfit, they offer a streamlined experience that is easy for parents and children alike.

Summer sessions often come with questions about timing, children, and what to expect after your session. Below are answers to some of the most common questions.
What is the difference between these sessions and your full custom sessions?
Summer Studio Portrait Sessions are designed to be a simplified and streamlined option for busy families.
Unlike my full custom portrait experience, these sessions do not include an in-home design consultation, extensive session planning, wardrobe styling, or an in-person ordering appointment.
Instead, you’ll enjoy a shorter studio session, simplified planning, and a private online gallery where you can select your favorite images from the comfort of home.
If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to update your family portraits or document a new stage of childhood, these sessions are a perfect fit.
My full custom sessions remain available year-round for families seeking a more personalized experience that includes detailed planning, custom artwork design, and in-person image selection.
When are Summer Session available?
Summer Sessions are available on Fridays throughout June and July. If Fridays don’t work for your schedule, please reach out and I’ll do my best to accommodate an alternative date.
What should we wear for our family session? Will I still receive guidance?
Yes. While Summer Studio Portrait Sessions are intentionally simplified, you’ll still receive guidance to help you prepare for your session, including recommendations for coordinating outfits and how to prepare for your session.
The goal is to keep the experience simple and stress-free while creating beautiful portraits you’ll love for years.
Can siblings be photographed together?
Yes. There are two ways to include siblings:
Option 1: Book two separate Child Portrait Sessions
Each child receives their own session time, image collection, and gallery. Sibling portraits will be taken at the end of the sessions at no additional charge.
Option 2: Add a sibling to a Child Portrait Session
An additional child may be added to any Child Portrait Session for $150. The scheduled session time is shared between both children and includes 3 additional digital images. Individual portraits of each child and sibling portraits will be captured, with image selections made from the combined gallery.
How do I reserve a session?
To reserve your Summer Session, complete the reservation form. Once your request is received, Jamie will send a session agreement and invoice for the reservation fee.
The reservation fee is applied as a credit toward your final collection purchase and secures your session date. Your session is officially reserved once the agreement has been signed and the reservation fee has been received.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
The reservation fee is non-refundable and secures your session date.
If you need to reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. With 24 hours’ notice, your reservation fee may be transferred to a new session date, subject to availability.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, missed appointments, or no-shows will forfeit the reservation fee and may require a new reservation fee to book another session.
How and when will I receive my images?
Within a week after your session, you’ll receive a private online proof gallery (unedited images), where you’ll view the images from your portrait session and select your favorites. Once your selections have been made, Jamie will professionally edit and retouch each chosen portrait before final delivery.
The number of included images depends on the collection you select. Collection details are listed above. If you’ve added a sibling to a Child Portrait Session, your collection will include 3 additional digital images.
Can I purchase additional images?
Yes. Additional digital images may be added to your collection after viewing your gallery.
Albums and wall art are also available for those interested in printed artwork. If you’d like assistance selecting or designing artwork, Jamie can schedule a separate appointment to discuss options after your session.
Is retouching included with family and child portraits?
Yes. All final images include professional editing and natural retouching to ensure your portraits look polished while still feeling authentic and true to life.
Can grandparents or extended family participate?
Summer Studio Portrait Sessions are designed for one immediate family household and are not intended for extended family groupings.
If you would like to include grandparents or extended family members, please contact Jamie about scheduling a custom family session, which allows additional time and planning to accommodate larger groups.
